We’ve got a bank holiday here in Germany today, but I’m working on my aphrodisiacs book. Which means illustrating plants and animals. Currently I’m working on a bottle of mead for the “Mead and Honey” section. I’ve already finished a few bees for this section, which were a lot of fun to do. Here’s one.

I’m having a lot of fun with science illustration anyway, because you have to draw very carefully and exact and I like realistic illustrations, especially of animals and plants anyway. If possible, I think I will try to graduate in science Illustration.

Unfortunately my study is quite hard for me at the moment, because of my poor condition. I’m as good as sure that I will have to cut the html/css course. It’s a pity, because I was really looking forward of creating my own portfolio website.

And now for something completely different.

Ford and Arthur

I’ve lend dvd’s from the local library with the 1981 BBC production of “The hitchiker’s guide to the galaxy”. It’s so lovely produced and well acted that it’s much fun watching it. So If you have a free afternoon you should give it a try (in english of course).
