The Jolly way of being creative

Yesterday I bumped my head to the edge of a shelf so hard that it started bleeding (My head, not the shelf).
Although feeling very dizzy plus a big headache, I later sketched two good pictures, which I should try to colour and came up with the concept of two funny characters.
Seems like hard knocks on the head really do increase the intellectual (creative) power.

A good smack on the noggin’ loosens up those otherwise still creative juices. A few aches and pains, but it’s all worth it. (Shelves can be crafty beings, can’t they? )

I love your illustration with the shelf! Thanks for the laugh. Though instead of stars, perhaps you should’ve drawn little wingless crows going in a circle around your head. That is how you initially conceived him, right? You knocked yourself silly and he was born, hopping around flightlessly as your poor eyes struggled to gain focus… XD
